Cookie Policy
Last updated · August 14, 2026
This page explains what trusend.ai stores in your browser — cookies and the equivalent technologies, local storage and session storage. It is short because there is little to report: we run no advertising network, no cross-site tracking and no third-party analytics on this site.
What we do not use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No cross-site tracking or data brokers.
- No third-party web analytics — no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no session-recording tool.
- We do not sell or share what your browser stores with anyone.
Strictly necessary
These are needed for the site to be served securely and cannot be switched off. Under the Law on Electronic Communications and the ePrivacy rules they do not require consent.
- Security and bot protection — our hosting and CDN provider, Cloudflare, may set a short-lived cookie (such as
__cf_bm) to tell humans from automated traffic and to protect the site from abuse.
The chat widget
The TruSend chat bubble on this site is our own product running on our own site. When it loads it uses your browser’s local and session storage — not cookies — so a conversation survives a page reload and you are not asked the same thing twice. Nothing here is shared with a third party or used for advertising.
- Conversation continuity —
nerv_anon_vid,nerv_session_id,nerv_auth_token,nerv_session_resume_v1: an anonymous visitor and session identifier and a short-lived token, so the chat you started is still yours after a refresh. - Your choices in the widget —
nerv_consent,nerv_translate_pref_v1,nerv_prechat_done_*: your consent decision, language preference and whether you already filled the pre-chat form. - Not asking twice —
nerv_has_chatted,nerv_visit_count,nerv_time_on_site,nerv_trigger_fire_count: counters that decide whether a proactive message is shown, so a returning visitor is not greeted with the same prompt on every page. These are the only entries that are not strictly necessary, and they are the reason the widget asks for consent before it writes.
Where the widget is configured to require consent it asks before it stores anything: until you accept, writes are held and dropped if you decline. Declining does not stop you from using the chat.
Your choices
You can accept or decline in the widget’s own consent prompt, and you can clear or block storage for this site at any time from your browser settings — every major browser lets you delete cookies and site data per site. Clearing it ends any open chat session; nothing else on the site depends on it.
